History
How does the Trust work?

There are 15 Trustees - 2 nominated by the council and 2 by St Andrews Church; the remaining 11 are elected as and when vacancies arise. All Trustees live, work, or otherwise have a good knowledge of the Ancient Parish - the area covered by the Trust.

Most of the Trust's business is carried out by committees, which meet regularly. All the Trustees meet quarterly to deal with the management of the Trust and decide how the Trust's funds should be spent.

About £250,000 is available each year for making discretionary grants. In a typical year around

  • 243 general grants are given to help those in financial need
  • 50 students get help towards their education or training
  • 30 grants are made towards community projects

Who does the paperwork?

A Trust Administrator manages the day to day running of the Trust, with the help of 3 full time and one part time members of staff, who each specialise in a particular area of the Trust's work.

Where is the office?

The office is in the Old Vestry Office, 22 The Town, Enfield and is open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
