History
Enfield Market

The Enfield Market takes place 4 days per week in the Market Place and provides considerable income for the Trust. On the remaining weekdays, the Market Place is used as a car park, for which charges are made, and which provide a further income. Approximately half the income from the Market and two-thirds of the car park income is used for grants (the remainder is taken up in running costs). Net income from Market rents this year was £68,057.

A part time Market Reeve manages the Market and within the policies set by the Trustees’ Market Committee, deals with letting the stalls and attracting new traders.
