A terrace of six houses, each comprising one bedroom and bathroom and toilet upstairs. On the ground floor there is a small lounge, a good-sized kitchen and a second toilet. The houses are gas central heated and are situated along the Hertford Road, just past Carterhatch Lane. There are communal gardens front and rear. These houses were built for widows of the work force of Wright's Mills. Preference is given when letting to widows over the age of 60 years.

Ann Crowe's Almshouses

A terrace of four one-bedroomed bungalows just off Turkey Street. The bungalows have gas central heating and communal rear garden. There is a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. These houses are let to needy residents of the Ancient Parish of Enfield.
